Terms of use
These terms set out the basis on which students, teachers and visitors may use Econograms.
Last updated 8 October 2026
Accepting these terms
By using Econograms, you agree to these terms. If you use the service for a school or another organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to do so. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, a parent, guardian or authorised school representative must agree on your behalf.
Educational purpose
Econograms is an independent educational tool for exploring and explaining economics diagrams. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization. Content supports learning and teaching but does not replace the current syllabus, teacher guidance, professional advice or official assessment materials. Practice questions and feedback are learning aids, not predictions or guarantees of examination marks.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, activity under your account and keeping your sign-in method secure. Teacher profile information such as school name and class size is optional. You must not access another person’s account, share access without permission or misrepresent your identity or role.
Tell us promptly at info@econograms.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You may use Econograms for personal study, classroom teaching and other lawful educational purposes. You may export your own diagrams and use them in lessons, revision notes and non-commercial school materials.
You may not disrupt the service, bypass access controls, probe its security without written permission, upload harmful material, scrape or automate abusive requests, impersonate others, infringe another person’s rights, or use Econograms to facilitate cheating or other unlawful conduct.
Your work and submissions
You retain any rights you hold in original diagrams, answers, labels or other material you create. You give Econograms a limited licence to host, copy, process and display that material only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and provide features you request. You are responsible for ensuring that material you submit is lawful and that you have permission to use it.
Our content and intellectual property
Econograms’ original interface, software, branding and learning content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Except for the educational uses expressly allowed above, these terms do not transfer any ownership or grant a right to reproduce, sell or create a competing service from Econograms content or software.
Accuracy, availability and changes
We work to keep explanations and diagrams accurate, but economic models simplify reality and the service may contain errors or change over time. To the extent permitted by law, Econograms is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We cannot promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage of work, or that every feature will remain available. Keep copies of material that is important to you.
Third-party services and links
Some features rely on third-party services such as Google, Supabase and Cloudflare, or link to external websites. Their own terms and policies may apply. Econograms is not responsible for third-party content, availability or conduct that it does not control.
Suspension and ending use
You may stop using Econograms at any time and may request account deletion. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address a serious breach of these terms.
Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Econograms is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost marks or decisions made in reliance on educational content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service develops. The revision date above will identify the current version, and material changes may be highlighted within the service. Continued use after revised terms take effect means they apply to your later use. Questions may be sent to info@econograms.com.
